The company history of Winterling began in the north-bavarian Röslau in the heart of the mountains “Fichtelgebige”. There, seven Winterling brothers and sisters founded the Bros. Winterling OHG and began in 1907 - in a new built factory - with the industrial manufacturing of porcelain. Because of a sweeping success of the enterprise the firm Röslau was extended several times and taken over in 1917 from Oscar Schaller founded porcelain factory in Schwarzenbach. The upward development continued in 1920 with the purchase and rebuilding of a textile factory in Kirchenlamitz and in 1929 with the takeover of the company Haberländer in Windischeschenbach.
