competent, independent, traditional

Zwiebelmuster Thuringia, this is independent German culture steeped in tradition, this is the land of the classical period of German literature. Thuringia combines names like Luther, Goethe, Schiller, Weimar and Wartburg.

But the name Thuringia stands not only for the classical period of German literature, it stands also for very varied, sophisticated craft, for craft art. And it stands for porcelain. Since here the porcelain was postinvented by Georg Heinrich Macheleid and the brothers Greiner. Here developed in the course of the centuries a porcelain tradition which became world-famous.

Triptis comes from Thuringia. In 1999 the brand and range of products Freiberg / Saxon and in 2000 Eschenbach and Winterling was taken over.

Since June, 2005 the extensive assortment of four brands is further produced in the Neue Porzellanfabrik Triptis GmbH under modern production terms.
